FAQs
Insurance
All renters are required to obtain insurance as follows:
The Lessee is required to carry general commercial liability insurance naming the Sunrise Theatre, 117 S. 2nd St., Fort Pierce, FL 34950 AND the City of Fort Pierce, 100 N US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34950 as additional insured in the amount of $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) for injury to any one person and the same amount $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) for any single incident, in addition to property damage of at least $100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars) written by an insurer authorized to do business in the State of Florida. LESSEE will provide VENUE certificate of said coverage and additional.
Rehearsals/Load In/Load Out
If an additional day is required for rehearsals or loading the standard venue service rates will apply for the additional day as well as any technical costs associated with the rehearsal or loading.
Decoration Guidelines
No painting or marking of any walls or stage deck…and ABSOLUTELY nothing will be taped or tacked to walls (no screws, taping of set lists to walls, drawing, etc. excluding spike and gaffers tape). No glitter or sequins.
Fire Notice
In case of fire, please move calmly to the exit nearest your seat.
Smoking
Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the Sunrise Theatre, including e-cigarettes and vaping.
Restrooms
Located in the main auditorium and on the second floor of the theatre.
