“A Night in Tunisia at the Black Box Theatre” is a show of modern and classic jazz, presented by Fort Pierce’s very own student-lead ensemble, the “Sunrise Jazz Combo.” The young ensemble has performed, and won first prize, in several competitions at the national level. This ensemble puts feeling into their music and kMain Theatrews that jazz is about being in the moment, and comes from the soul.

The ensemble has opened for grammy-Main Theatreminated saxophonist and flautist, Najee Harris, as well as jazz saxophonist Nick Biello. The members include Brittany Brown, Jaydin Farrenkopf, Dwight Dawkins, Ethan Yarberry, Paul Scala, Cameron Slack, and Sammy Abraham. The Sunrise Jazz Combo has been an active ensemble in the Treasure Coast’s music scene for years, with involvement in many philanthropic events.

Proceeds of the show will go to Little Birthday Angels, a Main Theatrenprofit organization providing birthday parties for homeless children here on the Treasure Coast.
