Caroline Picard was the first comic on Open Bar to get 1 million views! When Caroline Picard, The Cajun Queen, hits the stage with her signature red boots, her audience has about six seconds to get on her wavelength. Caroline lets them know right away that they are about to experience something really refreshing – a real person that is comfortable with her beliefs and has no problem making you laugh at them. Once Caroline is on stage it’s crystal clear that you have come to the house of “The Queen” and you will play by her rules. This born and raised Louisiana lady has a style that is all her own. Caroline is a favorite in the clubs around the country, and with the troops overseas. She has done three tours in Iraq, as well as Kosovo, this was her 16th overseas tour. Her credits in the industry include XM Radio, Sirius Radio, AOL Radio, Pandora, and National Lampoon Radio. Her film credits are Actor/Associate Producer on “Fist Full of Pills” which was presented an “Honorary Award” at The Just For Laughs international festival in Montreal, in 2005.
Julie Scoggins
Julie’s regularly heard on XM/Sirius Blue Collar Radio, as well as many syndicated stations including the John Boy & Billy Show, and the Bob & Sheri Show, (Charlotte, NC), & the Bob & Tom Show (Indianapolis, IN). A Southern girl with universal appeal, Julie’s shows sell out from Florida to Oregon. Folks actually WANT to sit in the front row & have been known to return a second night, just so they can bring friends that haven’t yet seen her. “Phyllis Diller started comedy at 37 years old & so did I. She went on to have a fabulous career that lasted over 40 years. I hope to be just as fortunate. It’s so awesome to be doing exactly what I feel like I’m meant to do!”.
Janet Williams “The Tennessee Tramp”
Janet Williams- also known as The Tennessee Tramp- is still on the road making people laugh well into her 70’s. She is not afraid to speak her mind and tell you what she thinks! Always! We love Janet here at Open Bar and we know you will too! Janet doesn’t hold anything back about her views on marriage, divorce, men, and women. She takes her comedy to the edge and over the top. If you are squeamish she’s not your gal, but if you like it over the top you’ll love her as we all do.
Helen Keaney
