Once again the Florida Improv’s are running a state wide comedy contest to find Florida’s Funniest Comedian for 2023! Past winner includes Preacher Lawson, Erik Myers, Orlando Leyba, Cam Bertrand, JB Ball and Ken Miller! 12 great comedians will compete and winner will move on to the next round at the Improv!!! Talent judges decide who moves on, your laughs help decide the winners!

Flip Schultz
When Flip Schultz was eight years old, he won a summer camp talent show by performing standup comedy. There was never a doubt in his mind that comedy would be his future.
After leaving South Florida as a local favorite, Flip moved across the country to Los Angeles where his funny and well-crafted jokes, combined with his physicality, improvisation, and hilarious characters, has made him a favorite on the L.A. comedy scene and a regular at the world famous Hollywood Improv and The Comedy Store.
Having been a working comedian for 30 years, Flip has traveled the world to places such as Mexico, Canada, Greenland, Scandinavia, London, Iraq, Egypt, Germany, and Iceland to entertain audiences of every kind, from the U.S. military to passengers on cruise ships.
He has been seen on many television shows and movies both as a comedian (Last Comic Standing, HBO, Comedy Central) and an actor (Big Trouble, Instant Mom, Mistresses). You can see these and other clips on Flip’s website or YouTube channel.
