Dear Friend of the Sunrise:
RE: YEAR END GIVING
Renovated and reopened now for 11 years, the Sunrise Theatre for the Performing Arts continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community. Like other performing arts centers around the country, the Sunrise Theatre ticket sale revenues cover less than one-half of our operating costs.
With the start of a new year, I am asking you now to please consider giving a new or additional gift if you can. With your financial support, the theatre will maintain and increase greater diversity and expansion of the arts, along with cultural, education and outreach, minority and other programming events while maintaining the capital needs of the building at a time when our sponsorship from the city continues to wane. Our goal is $500,000 which will assure a solid foundation in developing the Sunrise's Annual Operating and Capital Campaigns.
Please consider us in your year-end giving plans before December 31 for tax year 2016 or after January 1 for tax year 2017 by supporting us in our 2016/17 Annual Operating Campaign by making a tax-deductible donation in support of YOUR Sunrise Theatre. Remember that your contribution can and will make a difference!
Whether you are currently an Annual Member or a ticket buyer enjoying the opportunities the Sunrise Theatre offers, your contribution makes a major difference to the theatre and its impact in our community. To assist our efforts in supporting YOUR Sunrise Theatre, please click here to make your donation to the 2016/17 Annual Operating Campaign online today.
Please call Anne Satterlee, Director of Marketing at 772.467.3027 if you have any questions or by electing to make a check payable to the Sunrise Theatre and sending it to 117. S. Second Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. Thank you for your support and consideration for responding to this year’s Sunrise Theatre's immediate need. Our entire staff strives to make each programming season and the theatre’s physical condition better with each passing year. I hope that you will consider “Passing It Forward” to avoid slipping into reverse.
With sincere thanks, best wishes for your health and happiness over the upcoming holidays and throughout 2017.
